The quick and to the point answer to the question “what is Videonizer” is this: it is a database manager that puts the emphasis on helping you manage your collection of videos. The database you create can contain videos, pictures, info on actors and movie genres, links to sites, and personal ratings. To ensure you’re the only one with access to all the info in the Videonizer database, you can password protect said database.

Videonizer can be installed on any Windows edition that has .NET Framework 4.0 or newer on it. The installation process will go along smoothly and rapidly. There’s nothing complicated about it: download an archive, extract and run the executable inside, follow the onscreen instructions the setup wizard presents.

All the videos included in the database are presented as a list on the application’s interface. In the upper left hand corner there are buttons for creating a new database, opening an existing database, and password protecting a database. In the upper right hand corner there are buttons for adding more videos, accessing the Settings menu, and more. Overall, the interface layout is easy to figure out and easy to navigate. If you have any problems with it, hold down the F1 button and some handy tips will be displayed.

Using Videonizer is a simple 3-step process:
Step 1 – create a new database.
Step 2 – add the videos you want to this database. For each video you can enter a genre, a list of actors, links to various sites, and a rating. You can also open any video from the database with the media player of your choice.
Step 3 – save a copy of the database, put a password on it if you want to. Please note that the password protection feature is not available with the free Videonizer edition.

Videonizer provides a great means of managing your collection of videos.

Videonizer can be installed on any Windows edition that has .NET Framework 4.0 or newer on it. The application’s interface is easy to navigate. You can add just about any video type to the database, you can rate videos, add info about the video’s genre and the actors in the video, include links to various sites. You can protect the database by putting a password on it. Support for multiple languages is provided.
